On June 2, 2019, the 17th Heidenheim City Run took place in warm, sunny weather. A total of 3,221 excited athletes showcased their skills in four different races – the disciplines included a kids' run (1 km), a 5 km run, a 10 km run, and a half marathon (21 km). With the new HG shirts, which were pink for girls and blue for boys, running became even more enjoyable. After crossing the finish line, the runners received a small red towel to wipe off their sweat, and there were plenty of snacks and drinks for refreshment.
