On April 20, the Gera Running Cup continues with the 42nd Heeresberglauf organized by Lusaner SC 1980. The race starts at the well-known Brüte sports field and offers distances of 14 km and 8 km for runners, as well as 8 km and 4 km for walkers. The route leads through the Brütetal to Zeulsdorf and back over Weißig, with the 14 km course featuring a challenging ascent. Pre-registrations are possible until April 16, and the participation fees range from five to ten euros.
