The 18th Haveluferlauf of ESV Lok Potsdam took place on April 22, 2023, in stunning spring weather and is considered Brandenburg's most beautiful landscape experience run on paved riverbank paths along the Havel. This "cross-border" run crosses the Glienicke Bridge, connecting the Berlin and Brandenburg running communities. A total of 315 runners participated in three distances (800 m for the Bambinis, a mini-marathon of 4.2 km, and the main race of 10 km), competing for points in the LVB-Brandenburg Cup, the e.dis-Mittelmark Cup, and the new Meilenweit Running Cup.
Highlights
- Brandenburg's most beautiful landscape experience run on paved riverbank paths along the Havel.
- About a third of the participants came from Berlin, and thus anyone who wanted to could also recall the divide between "Ossis" and "Wessis."
- On all courses, there was enthusiastic competition for points in the LVB-Brandenburg Cup, the e.dis-Mittelmark Cup, and the new Meilenweit Running Cup.
