After a five-year break, the Handewitter Summer Run returns on July 20, 2025. The event is organized jointly by Handewitter SV and TSB Flensburg, while the previous organizer Kai Hensen will only provide advisory support. There will be a Bambini run, a 2.5-kilometer run (also for schools and as a corporate run), a wheelchair race over various distances, a 5 km run (for schools, companies, and also Nordic walking), a 10 km run, and a half marathon (also for relay teams).
