At the Int. Airport Race, running enthusiasts enjoy an impressive view of the departing and landing airplanes while circling the airport. The traditional start for the 10-mile race is at 11:00 AM at the LSV sports facility on Borsteler Chaussee. Participants can look forward to a very special course that runs directly along the airport fence, through a parking garage, and under one of the runways. In addition to the classic distance of 16.1 kilometers, there is also a five-kilometer race and a mini Airport Race on the schedule.
