For over 30 years, the international half marathon has taken place in Altötting, in the "Heart of Bavaria." This half marathon, referred to as the "fastest natural run in the world," features an attractive route of 21.1 km, 80% of which runs on paved forest paths and is surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the Altötting Forest. In addition to the half marathon, the event also includes a 6-kilometer road race and a 1300-meter fun run, making it one of the top half marathons in Germany.
