The popular Edelsfeld Hahnenkammlauf invites you to a picturesque forest run in its 23rd edition on June 6, 2026. The course leads predominantly over well-maintained forest paths through the Eiselbach Valley and is recognized as a scoring race for the Amberg-Sulzbach district cup. There are various distances, including 400 meters for the Bambini class, 1,000 meters for the children's class, 1,500 meters for the youth, 4,800 meters for the women's and youth classes, as well as 8,300 meters for the men's class. Additionally, a children's running training will be offered starting in April to optimally prepare participants for the race.
