The Hagenow Spring Cross is a cross-country race for age groups from 6 to adults, with distances ranging from 600 meters for the U8 to 7 kilometers for adults. The 11th edition took place on the first Saturday in April under sunny weather and temperatures around 20 degrees, setting a new participant record with 307 runners. In addition to competitors from the region, talents from Bad Doberan SV 90 and PSV Wismar, as well as athletes from Lower Saxony, also took part. Winners in all age categories were sought over distances from 800 meters to 7 kilometers.

Highlights

  • Entry fee of only 1 Euro, with a start at 10 AM and registration deadline at 9:30 AM.
  • Immediately after the finish of each race, the top three fastest runners were honored in a ceremonial event.
  • The event is part of the District Cross Cup series in Hagenow.
