The Göttingen Half Marathon will take place for the first time on Sunday, May 5, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM at the Jahn Stadium. The course is predominantly flat, running on asphalt and natural paths along the banks of the Leine River and through forests, with only a short incline. In addition to the main distance of 21.1 km, which can also be run as a relay, there will be a quarter marathon of 10.6 km and a student race of 2.1 km. Over 650 runners have already registered for the three race distances.
