The athletes are greeted at the start in front of St. Mary's Church by a magnificent backdrop overlooking the Osnabrück Town Hall. They can expect a challenging and highly attractive running course over a distance of 10 km. The combined city-landscape trail run leads through the historic old town, through the Heger Gate, up to Westerberg, and to Rubbenbruchsee, before crossing the Hase and the connecting canal to ascend the 188-meter-high Piesberg. The greatest challenge for all runners is tackling the 269 steps of the Piesberg South Staircase before the unique finish line, accompanied by the Ratskapelle.
