The 38th Gerolsteiner City Run will take place on June 21, 2025, and is organized by the Gerolstein Sports Club 1919 e.V. The start and finish are centrally located in Gerolstein at the Brunnenplatz, and the runs will take place along the Kyll Cycle Path. There are various distances ranging from student races of 500 m, 1,000 m, and 2,500 m to a 5,000 m middle-distance run and a 10,000 m main run. All courses are inclusive runs, open to both disabled and non-disabled runners.
Highlights
- The Gerolstein City Run was a staple of the Bitburger Runner's Cup 0.0% for 30 years, but starting this year, it will be part of the new running series 4-Regio-Cup with 12 scoring races from the regions of Eifel, Hunsrück, Mosel, and Saar.
- To qualify for the series ranking, 6 out of the 12 races must be successfully completed, and there are special prizes for participants who have finished 10 out of the 12 races.
- The races begin at 4:30 PM with the 500 m student race, followed by additional distances up to the 10,000 m main race, which starts at 6:00 PM.
