The Gehrden Burgberglauf takes place at the sports field of the Matthias-Claudius-Gymnasium in Gehrden. The course consists of a 2.5 km loop that runs partly on forest paths and partly on paved roads. The 5 km and 10 km routes are not accessible for those with visual and mobility impairments due to a staircase at the sports field. Changing rooms and showers are available in the sports hall, and the distribution of race numbers begins at 11:00 AM.
