On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the traditional spring run of the Turnerbund Weiden will kick off at 2 PM. All recreational runners, joggers, and ambitious running enthusiasts are invited to open the 2025 running season in the Upper Palatinate region. “We primarily want to reach people who simply want to enjoy running,” says the head of the running department, Klaus Meier. The flat course is well-suited for both the 5.6 km recreational runners and the ambitious 10 km time runners. Additionally, there will be a 2 km children's race for kids aged 6 to 15 years.
