Warm invitation to the 6th Franconian Backyard Ultra, taking place on September 5, 2025, at the sports grounds of SK Heuchling near Nuremberg. The Backyard Ultra features a varied course with trail sections and some elevation gain, while the Family Trail runs concurrently in teams on a shorter distance of 2.3 km every half hour. Registration is already open, and the participant limit is set at 100 people. Please note that the Backyard Ultra is already fully booked.
Highlights
- "The field of participants was incredibly strong this time," said Juliane Buchholz with joy. 57 runners completed the ultradistance, 28 were still in the race at 100 km, and seven surpassed the magical mark of more than 24 hours on the course.
- For the regular Backyard Ultra (6.7 km per hour), we are once again offering the Family Trail (2.3 km per 1/2 hour) this year.
- Attention: Donation of €1 for each lap completed (up to the 15th lap). If payment is not made, the participant will be considered as not having started.
