The Flora-Westfalica Marathon in Rheda-Wiedenbrück features an attractive course that runs around the city and was inaugurated in September 2022. The event includes both a marathon and a half marathon, with the start and finish located at the parking lot of the indoor swimming pool on Ostring. The course is well-marked and offers a welcoming atmosphere for runners and spectators.
Highlights
- The event took place on an attractive 2 km loop through the Flora-Westfalica Park and was excellently organized.
- A total of nearly 70 teams took to the start line, and our mixed team finished in 16th place out of 34 mixed teams.
- Despite the rainy weather, there was a great atmosphere on and off the track, characterized by mutual cheering and team spirit.
