The 45th Finnelauf will take place on April 26, 2025, and is again expecting a high number of participants, after last year the magical threshold of 1,000 participants was reached. The school cup run starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the main races starting at 10:15 AM. The start and finish are at the Billroda/Tauhardt sports field. The registration deadline is Monday, April 21, 2025, with the option for late registration on April 26 for a fee of 5.00 EUR.
Highlights
- The more than 680 pre-registrations had already indicated that many athletes would once again find their way to the largest running event in the Burgenlandkreis.
- 211 runners set out on the two-kilometer course, 230 took on the 6 km route, 111 tackled the 12.5 km, and 40 faced the premier discipline of the half marathon.
- The Nordic walking distances were also popular, with 48 athletes on the 6 km route and 26 participants on the 11.5 km course, which was reintroduced into the program.
