The 45th Finnelauf will take place on May 3, 2025, in Billroda, Saxony-Anhalt, and offers wonderful routes through the forest area of Rastenberger Forst. Participants can choose from various distances, including 2 km, 6 km, 12.5 km, half marathon, as well as Nordic walking and a children's run over 600 m. For this anniversary edition, it is expected that numerous runners, including students from the region, will take to the start line and conquer the winter conditions.
Highlights
- The event saw nearly 500 participants last year, who competed on the traditional racecourses despite winter conditions.
- The 12.5-kilometer course had the largest field of participants with 135 runners, followed by 124 athletes on the 5.5-kilometer course.
- Special prizes are offered for children and young people in the age categories U14, U16, U18, and U20.
