On June 1, 2025, the 34th ZVO Energy Road Race "Around Ratekau" will take place. Over 600 runners are expected to participate in this traditional event organized by TSV Ratekau. There is something for sports enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels: from the Bambini Run over 400 meters, the 2-kilometer beginner and student race, to the 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer, and the traditional 15-kilometer distance. The start and finish area is located at the sports field of the Turn- und Sportverein Ratekau, and the affected municipal roads will be closed to all traffic to ensure the safety of the participants.
