The 45th Elsterlauf will take place on May 25, 2025, in the spa town of Bad Liebenwerda and will be the last organized by the current event host. The event is organized by the Lauf- und Walking-Verein 05 Bad Liebenwerda e.V. and offers various distances: 400 m Bambini run, 2 km family and introductory run, 5.7 km AOK health run, 11 km Sparkasse Elbe-Elster run, and 21.1 km mineral springs half marathon. Additionally, there will be Nordic walking and family cycling, with trophies for the overall winners and medals for all participants.
