Elsterlauf

The Elsterlauf in Bad Liebenwerda is a traditional running and walking event taking place on May 31, 2026, for the 46th time. The event offers a variety of race distances, including marathon, half marathon, various walking and hiking routes, as well as children's races. The course runs through the spa town of Bad Liebenwerda and provides a family-friendly atmosphere with categories for individual runners, teams, and companies. All participants receive a finisher medal and certificate, and there is an award ceremony by age groups. The organization is carried out by SG Medizin Bad Liebenwerda and the Running and Walking Club 05 Bad Liebenwerda e.V.

Late registrations are possible on May 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00 and on May 31, 2026, from 07:00 to 09:30. Changing rooms and showers are available at the Bad Liebenwerda elementary school, luggage storage from 07:00 to 14:00. The cut-off time for all routes is 13:15. There is a corporate and club ranking with teams of three runners. Cyclists and hikers start without timing and ranking. All participants receive a finisher medal and certificate. Results are published online. The race event features online registration, various categories for runners, walkers, and families, including award ceremonies and finisher medals.
