The village run organized by TSV Ebermergen covers 5,000 meters in 2 laps through the town, while a short course of 2,500 meters is offered for youth and students. In the 34th edition of the village run, 15-year-old Luis Rühl from TSV Harburg emerged as the youngest winner in the history of the competition. He crossed the finish line in 15:48 minutes, followed by Luca Schreitmüller, who took 15:58 minutes. In the women's category, 17-year-old Chiara Göttler won in 18:15 minutes.
