On Sunday, July 7, 2024, this year's village run in Wiera will take place as part of the Schwalm-Eder Running Cup. It kicks off at 10 AM with the Bambini run for the little ones, followed by the children's and youth races over 400 and 800 meters respectively. The main race and the fun run start at 11 AM and cover a distance of 5 and 10 kilometers, with about half of the route running along a shady forest path. Refreshments will be provided every 2.5 kilometers, and registration is possible in advance or on the race day until 20 minutes before the start.
