Preparations for the 47th Darmstadt Merck City Run on June 25, 2025, are in full swing. Due to extensive construction work, a short-term change to the course is necessary, as the usual section between Ernst-Ludwig-Straße, Ludwigstraße, and Piazza is not runnable. The new route will take runners through Ernst-Ludwig-Platz, the marketplace, Kirchstraße, and the passage at An der Stadtkirche, before they rejoin the familiar loop at the Piazza. This adjustment incorporates additional central historical squares of the city center and enriches the traditional city run.
