The Darmstadt Women's Run takes place in the Herrngarten park in Darmstadt and is exclusively open to female runners. This special running event appeals to women and girls of all ages and skill levels. Beginners are encouraged to participate in the "Lilac Run," while ambitious women and young people compete in the "Lily of the Valley Run" over a fast five-kilometer loop in the picturesque park. The run has a long tradition and has been held since 1992, most recently as an evening event on the Friday before Mother's Day.
