The 22nd Buxtehude Old Town Run will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with the main goal of encouraging children to participate in sports. The event offers various distances for participants of all ages, including 2 km for students, 5 km for youth and adults, as well as 10 km and a half marathon. The loop course through the old town is officially measured and starts at the town hall, winding through picturesque streets and ending there as well.

Highlights

  • Wonderful: 988 children started the 21st Buxtehude Old Town Run over the two-kilometer course.
  • The strongest participation among adults was in the five-kilometer race, which Jeroen Eversen won in 16:49 minutes.
