The Bürener Volkslauf, organized by SV 21 Büren, has become a "hit" in the region's sports event calendar. On August 23, the Bürener Volkslauf 2024 will kick off its 37th edition, where hundreds of participants – experienced runners as well as children and youth – are expected in the Bürener Land. The competitions include various distances, such as the 200-meter Bambini run, 800-meter student and children's runs, as well as the challenging 5-kilometer, 10.3-kilometer, and 17.5-kilometer Volksläufe. The routes take runners through the picturesque landscape of Bürener Land, with the starting gun fired at the sports facility "Am Bruch."
