The Buchdorf Fun Run traditionally takes place on the Day of German Unity and offers competitions over 10 km and 3.3 km on well-maintained forest paths through a romantic, slightly challenging piece of woodland. After registration at the curling club, participants make their way to the starting area in the nearby forest, where the starting shot is fired at 10 a.m. The short distance is specifically designed for young runners, while adults are timed on this route but excluded from the prize distribution. Winners can look forward to nutritious prizes, and the team with the highest number of participants receives a special prize.
