Böckstiegellauf

The Böckstiegellauf is a scenic race through the Teutoburg Forest and the Ravensberger Hill Country, running from Peter auf’m Berge in Bielefeld to the city center of Werther. Offered are courses over 18 km and 10 km, as well as a 2.5 km student race. The route partly follows the Hermannslauf and passes the Böckstiegelhaus and the Böckstiegel Museum. The event is well organized with bus shuttles from the finish to the start and an award ceremony in the center of Werther.

Start and finish are at Peter auf’m Berge and at Venghauss-Platz in Werther. Bus services start at 12:00 PM from the Werther bus station to the start. Late registrations are possible on the event day from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Venghauss-Platz, subject to available starting spots. The route is mostly in good condition, but at the junction of the 18/10 km courses at kilometer 3.7, it is very rocky. The courses pass through nature and the city. Registration is already possible, with bus transport to the start. No parking at the start location. Late registrations only if spots are available.
