For over 50 years, the traditional Birkhahnlauf has taken place every year on the Sunday of the last weekend in October in Schneeren. With running distances starting from 500m for children to 5km and 10km for long-distance runners. New this year is a 2.3km course for the U12 age group. The special route, which is located in the middle of the forest, makes the race a wonderful event every time.
