It’s official now: On June 5, 2024, the 22nd Lower Saxony Government Marathon will take place. The starting gun will sound again precisely at 3:30 PM on the north shore of Lake Maschsee in Hanover. There will be a significant change in the timing method: instead of individual chips, runners will use relay batons. In the marathon relay, each participant will run 2 laps of 3,510 meters each, totaling about 7 kilometers.
