The Bavarian 10 km Staufen Run is a challenging trail run that takes place annually as part of the "Alpine City & Trail" Running Days in Bad Reichenhall. The course spans 18.7 km with 1,400 meters of elevation gain and traverses demanding terrain, making it ideal for experienced trail runners. The starting point is located at the Town Hall Square in Bad Reichenhall, from where participants ascend the Hochstaufen (1,771 m). The route features both steep climbs and technical descents, requiring skill and endurance from the runners.
