The half marathon course of the Bad Buchau city run takes place in the largest nature reserve in Southwest Germany around Lake Federsee. After the start on the marketplace, participants will go through two small loops in the Bad Buchau city center and the spa park, before circling Lake Federsee amidst stunning nature. The course is mostly flat with an elevation difference of about 35 meters and runs partly on paved and gravel paths. A highlight is the 1 km long wooden walkway through a pristine primeval forest, which is crossed before returning to Bad Buchau.
