The 18th Krepe-Cross in Angern takes place annually on May 1st, Labor Day, and has been organized since 2005 by the running group of SV-Angern. This year, the event was part of the Elbe-Ohre-Cup and the state cup series of Saxony-Anhalt. Four different race distances are offered, ranging from 400 m, 1.7 km, 5.9 km to 10.7 km, which lead through picturesque landscapes and provide participants with a varied challenge. With around 480 active participants, a new record was set, and the almost summer-like temperatures ensured ideal running conditions.
