Imagine running through the historic streets of Halberstadt, past impressive half-timbered houses and over the characteristic cobblestones of the old town – this vision becomes reality at the Halberstadt Old Town Run. You can choose between different distances: 4.6 km or 9.3 km. The course consists of a circular route of approximately 2.3 km, mostly leading over cobblestones and water-bound paths. Particularly noteworthy is the charitable aspect of the run: for each participant, €1 is donated for the preservation and restoration of Halberstadt's half-timbered old town.
