The 24th Altstadtfestlauf in Lauf a.d. Pegnitz takes place on Friday evening to open the Altstadtfest on the last weekend of June. The start is at 6 PM at the water bridge, and the finish is at the Nuremberg Gate. There is a 10 km main race, which is officially measured and thus eligible for ranking, as well as a 5 km fun run and Nordic walking, both of which take place on a mostly paved loop course.

Highlights

  • The course is primarily an asphalted loop of 5/10 KM.
  • The 10 km course is officially measured and therefore eligible for rankings (approximately 300 m of field path, about 1 km of gravel path).
  • The Old Town Festival Run is an integral part of the cultural and sporting life of our city – we definitely wanted to preserve it.
