The Altmühltrail 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Dollnstein and is organized by the Offroad Association International e.V. (OAI e.V.) and DJK Dollnstein e.V. Participation is possible in running (trail running and (Nordic) walking with timing) or hiking (walking without timing). The routes run on hiking trails or paths in varied terrain, mostly away from paved roads. The distances are measured via GPS, and details about the routes will be announced in due time on the official homepage.
