The Altmühl-Jura Half Marathon is an annual running event in Greding, in Middle Franconia, usually held in mid-October. The classic half marathon distance takes runners over 21 kilometers on a loop course that is to be completed four times, featuring a turnaround point. For those who do not wish to complete the full distance, there are also races offered over 5 and 10 kilometers. The event also includes a relay race and a kids' run for children up to eleven years old.
