On July 20, 2025, the 53rd International Allgäu Volkslauf will take place in conjunction with the Leutkirch Children's Festival. The race leads from Wilhelmshöhe – the "Leutkirch Festival Mountain" – over a picturesque and varied route through the beautiful Allgäu foothills, returning to Wilhelmshöhe. In addition to the 10 km main race and the 5 km run, there will also be 5 km and 10 km Nordic Walking events – timed but not ranked. Furthermore, various children's and Bambini races will also take place.

Highlights

  • Since 1970, the International Allgäu Volkslauf, organized by the Ski Runners Guild, has taken place annually on "Children's Festival Sunday."
  • Hundreds of the best runners from all over Southern Germany and even athletes from Leutkirch's partner cities are participating in this major sporting event.
  • The results, including certificates, will be available online for all participants from around 12 PM on the day of the event.
