The Allgäu Panorama Marathon kicks off in Sonthofen for the next round. Athletes of all ages can compete in six different running disciplines this weekend. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the 5-kilometer race and the Kidsrun will take place, while the events for adults follow on Sunday. The marathon course offers a spectacular mountain experience over 42.3 km and 1400 meters of elevation gain, which is achievable for experienced runners. The event also includes a half marathon of approximately 21 km, an 18 km Horn Run, and the most challenging ultra-trail with about 70 km and 3100 meters of elevation gain.
