On Sunday, June 22, 2025, Alfeld will welcome summer with a grand runner's festival in the city center. The Bernd Meyer Relay Marathon is already in its 14th edition and is organized by the running clubs LAV Alfeld, Delligser SC, MTV Röllinghausen, and TSV Warzen. The circuit of approximately 3 km must be completed twice, with the start and finish located at the marketplace. The children's races will begin at 10:30 AM for girls and at 10:45 AM for boys, followed by the adult race at 11:15 AM.
Highlights
- Success at the Alfeld Relay Marathon: Dorothea Bente finished second for the girls, and Silas Räck secured victory for the boys.
