On Sunday, July 20, 2025, the 38th edition of the Aalen City Run is expected, with around 1,000 runners of all ages at the starting line. Mayor Frederick Brütting will take on the patronage and will participate himself, while Mayor Bernd Schwarzendorfer will give the starting signal. Organized by LSG Aalen, the flat and fast circuit through Aalen's city center offers competitions for all age groups. The start and finish will be at Sparkassenplatz, where the award ceremonies and supporting program will also take place.
