The 8-Hour Race at Suzuka (officially Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours) is a long-distance motorcycle race that takes place annually in July at the Suzuka International Racing Course in Japan and has been part of the FIM Endurance World Championship since 1980. Especially for Japanese motorcycle manufacturers, this traditional event is THE highlight of the season. The riders must demonstrate not only riding talent but also strategy, teamwork, and tactics, such as battery changes and rider swaps, to be successful in this exciting race.
