4. Heartbeat Ultra

Heartbeat Ultra is a participatory ultra charity run in Fulda taking place on November 21, 2026. Participants run on a roughly 6 km loop up to 112 km and decide themselves when to start, pause, and finish their run. With each completed lap, donations are collected for children with half a heart to support research and joy of life. The run is open to everyone, from beginners to ultramarathon runners, and wheelchair users are also warmly welcome.

The run is a charity event where every lap counts and the registration fee is fully donated. Participants receive a personal donation page where supporters can donate per lap run. There is a 400-meter children's run in the stadium, which is counted per lap. The run is also possible virtually, allowing worldwide participation. Flexible running time, virtual participation, donations for children with heart defects, registration with personal donation page, medal for the first 1500 participants.
