43. Flora-Westfalica Marathon

The Flora-Westfalica Marathon in Rheda-Wiedenbrück is a private marathon race conducted according to the rules of the 100 Marathon Club Germany. The course consists of seven large laps of 6.10 km each, totaling 42.7 km, and is marked with arrows or flutter tape depending on the weather. The event emphasizes self-sufficiency, as runners pass by their cars after each lap. Timing is done manually with a stopwatch, and a certificate is sent via email. Participation is possible from age 18, there is no entry fee, but a voluntary donation of €5 is requested.

Start and finish at the parking lot at the town hall, Hauptstraße 120, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück. No showers or changing rooms on site, but toilets with hot water 150 meters away and two additional toilets nearby the course. Participant limit of 22 persons. Registration until 6 pm the day before via email with first name, last name, year of birth, and club. Participation at own risk, liability waiver applies. Timing for the marathon is manual with a stopwatch; for ultramarathon, external timing with photo proof. Those who stop their hydration breaks will be disqualified.
