40. Göttinger Frühjahrs-Volkslauf

The 40th Göttingen Sparkasse Volkslauf will take place on May 31, 2026, at the Jahnstadion Göttingen and offers a diverse running program for participants of all performance levels. The event combines tradition and community and invites both experienced runners and hobby joggers to an active day filled with fun and movement. The courses include 2 km, 5.4 km, and 10.8 km distances, with the half marathon unfortunately canceled this year. The event emphasizes health, well-being, and togetherness in the region.

No registration is required for the Bambini run; race numbers can be collected free of charge on the day of the event. Late registrations on the event day are not possible. The entry fee includes the organizational fee and a mineral drink. There are individual classifications and a special classification for the most active school, as well as rankings in the S-Running-Cup, SüdNiedersachsen-Cup, and Gö-Challenge. Race distances: 2 km, 5.4 km, 10.8 km; event held at Jahnstadion; online registration; half marathon canceled due to road closures; medical support and parking available.
