21. Fun-Run

The 21st Maisel’s FunRun will take place on May 10, 2026, in Bayreuth and is a fixed part of the regional running calendar. The event attracts over 4,000 running enthusiasts annually, from beginners to ambitious athletes. Various distances are offered for adults, including half marathon, quarter marathon, and 5 km run, as well as several children's races without an entry fee. The finish line leads directly to the festival grounds of the Maisel’s Weissbierfest, where runners can celebrate with live music and freshly tapped Maisel’s Weisse. The course is varied and mostly flat, passing the most beautiful spots in Bayreuth and creating an excellent running atmosphere.

Race documents will be sent in advance by mail. An official FunRun shirt from the Bayreuth sports brand CEP can optionally be purchased. No entry fee is charged for children's races (U12, U10, U8, U6). The FunRun is part of the Maisel’s Weissbierfest, which takes place from May 7 to May 10, 2026.
