Race description
The Fullestrand Ultramarathon will take place on June 13, 2026, in Kassel and offers a challenging 46.5 km course along the Fulda River with approximately 350 meters of elevation gain. The route starts in Kassel and runs upstream along the Fuldahöhenweg and back along the Fuldaradweg, passing through diverse landscapes and natural areas. The event is organized by Laufwerk Kassel under the leadership of Sylke Kuhn and combines athletic challenge with the beauty of North Hesse's nature and culture.

Meet at 7:58 AM at the start. Start and finish are at Auedamm 17 in Kassel, opposite the pancake house next to the Auebad. The route partly runs on bike paths and requires use of the harbor bridge traffic lights. The event is organized by Sylke Kuhn, who also manages other marathon and ultramarathon races in the region. The course includes flat paths, single trails with mud, no markings, water stations available, time limit of 8 hours.
