Race description

The 13th Schloss Marienburg Marathon will take place on November 21, 2026, in Nordstemmen-Adensen. The scenic marathon is varied and suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. The course runs through village streets, paved and unpaved field paths, forest trails, and trails with approximately 560 meters of elevation. A special highlight is the refreshment station located in the courtyard of Schloss Marienburg, inviting runners to rest. The 21.1 km race course is shaped like an eight, with three refreshment stations in Adensen, offering beautiful views of the Calenberger Land and the Leinebergland in good weather.

Additional information

Early start marathon at 9:00 AM for runners who need more than 6 hours. Official timing with electronic measurement. Refreshments approximately every 5 km with water, tea, isotonic drinks, cola, fruit, and gingerbread. Changing rooms, showers, toilets, and luggage storage available at the start and finish area. DRK medical service at the start/finish area and along the route. Participant limit: 550 runners, of which a maximum of 300 are half marathoners. Hilly course with trails, 560 meters of elevation, scenic views, aid stations every 5 km.
