The 100-mile race on the Berlin Wall Trail takes place every year in memory of the division of Berlin and the victims of the Wall. Participants run along the East Side Gallery during the Wall Run. In 2026, the route will go clockwise around the former West Berlin. Up to 350 runners and over 80 relay teams are expected at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Sports Park in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. The time limit is 30 hours for individual runners and between 26 and 27 hours for the relays.
Highlights
- Along the way, volunteers provide support to the participants at a total of 26 aid stations, which are set up every 5 to 9 kilometers along the route.
- The course route almost entirely follows the official Wall Path, the former patrol route of the East German border troops around West Berlin.
- Along the fully marked course, runners can expect not only a great atmosphere but also a rich selection of food and drinks.
