Marathon
Race description
The Dünenfeld Marathon in Augustdorf is a special race organized according to the rules of the 100 Marathon Club Germany. The course consists of seven large loops of 6.1 km each, totaling 42.7 km, and features some trail sections. The start is located at the viewpoint, from where runners can enjoy a beautiful view of the large dune fields. The event is a private race with self-supply and manual timing, requiring a photo of the clock as proof to be submitted via email.

The race takes place with a minimum of 3 participants. There is no entry fee, but a voluntary donation of €5 is requested. Timing is done with a manual stopwatch, and a photo of the clock must be sent on the same day via email. No showers or changing rooms are available. Participants must be at least 18 years old. The course is marked with ribbon. Self-supply is required, as the start area is passed after each lap. Trail character, self-supply, no showers/changing rooms, participation at own risk, limited number of participants, registration until the day before at 6 pm.
